Same Doctor, Same Staff, Same Location, New Name.
Now available for the treatment of dry eye disease.
At Visionary Eyecare, we are always committed to staying at the forefront of eye care to provide you with the most effective and comfortable treatment options available. That’s why we’re excited to announce the addition of two innovative new therapies to our practice: Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) and Low-Level Light Therapy (LLLT)
This service is offered at our secondary location at 6061 Sandstone Rd Eau Claire, WI inside Paradise Massage, NOT at our Altoona location.

Dry eye symptoms—such as burning, itching, light sensitivity, blurred vision, and a gritty sensation—can significantly affect your quality of life. With the addition of IPL and LLLT, we can now offer highly effective, non-invasive solutions that target the root causes of dry eye, not just the symptoms.
These treatments are quick, safe, and performed right here in office—often with noticeable improvements in just a few sessions.
“I struggled with dry eye symptoms for over 25 years, which became significantly worse after several eye surgeries. I tried countless drops, medications, ointments, compresses, and herbal remedies—carrying an arsenal of products with me everywhere and never wanting to be without them. As a final step, I consulted Dr. Meyer at Visionary Eyecare’s Dry Eye Clinic. She was thorough, compassionate, and took the time to truly understand what I had been experiencing. After starting monthly treatments, I began seeing gradual but remarkable improvement. I needed far fewer drops and ointments, and after my third of four treatments, I went 10 days without needing a daytime drop—something I could hardly imagine before. Today, I only use a drop occasionally and finally feel somewhat normal again. I’m incredibly grateful to Dr. Meyer and the Dry Eye Clinic for giving me back a level of comfort I hadn’t experienced in years.”
For Dry Macular Degeneration
Photobiomodulation uses specific wavelengths of light to support the energy
and function of retinal cells. In dry AMD, retina cells can become stressed
over time. Light therapy is designed to help these cells function more
efficiently and support overall retinal health.
